Day 1 and 2

Greta, Cobar and Broken Hill

Yesterday we we drove to Cobar and it took 7 hours to get there. Dubbo was half way to Cobar. At Cobar we went to a massive mine that is really deep. We stayed at Cobar free camp (that is a camping spot).

Today we drove to Broken Hill and at Broken Hill they do a lot of mining for silver, lead, iron and zinc. We also went and saw some sculptures at sun set and watch the sun set.

“The Sculptures comprise 12 sandstone artworks which highlight the skyline, all with a story to tell. Located on a majestic hilltop within the centre of the reserve, the sculptures were completed in 1993 by artists from around the world.” – www.visitnsw.com
